Top 10 Best Fortnite Players [2021]

Choosing the top 10 best Fortnite players is harder than it seems. With so many players showcasing their skills on a nightly basis, there are a lot of names to sift through.

The game of Fortnite moves quickly and so do the players at the top. Every week we see players make a case as to why they are one of the best in Fortnite.

The competitive scene can chew players up and spit them out, but the list below indicates some of the best and most consistent players in Fortnite today.

I tried to narrow down the ten best Fortnite players (in alphabetical order).

Did your favorite player make the list?

Were there any players that should be listed in the top 10?

Let’s find out.

Top 10 Best Fortnite Players

Aqua

If you looked at a leaderboard from any European tournament, there’s a chance you would find Aqua at the top of it.

2019 saw Aqua win multiple tournaments and competitions as well as placing highly in several events.

Aqua popped off as well at the World Cup Finals, finishing 1st in Duos. Aqua took every tournament and competitive opportunity with pride, placing well among some of the best in the game.

Aqua had a stellar 2019 and I can only expect the same in 2020.

BenjyFishy

Another European player on this list, BenjyFishy has been dominant as a Fortnite player.

His track record speaks for itself, as he placed well in both the Solo and Duo portion of the World Cup.

Benjyfishy continuously takes home tournament victories and prizes. 2019 was a stellar year for the 15-year-old and I can only expect more of the same in 2020.

Benjyfishy is one of the top players in the World and will continue to be a leader in the competitive community.

Bugha

In the first-ever World Cup, Bugha dropped opponents like it was nobody’s business.

At the time Bugha may have been unknown, but now he is one of the top players in the World.

The way he competed at the World Cup was mind-blowing. His performance put himself on the map and it’s obvious why Bugha is on this list.

Even before winning the World Cup, Bugha was consistently winning Cash Cups, Friday Fortnite and other tournaments.

He is such a consistent player that it’s not surprising he ran away at the World Cup Finals.

Clix

It was an insane year for the 15-year-old. He finished 1st in 6 tournaments, as well as finishing 18th in the Fortnite World Cup Finals.

Clix has clips all over social media displaying his skills and it’s easy to see why he is on this list.

Clix has already proven that he is one of the best players in the world. Continuously placing high in elite tournaments will just add to the stacked resume he already possesses.

Dubs

2019 was a tease for Dubs. With so many finishes in third or second place, Dubs had a taste of what it’s like to be a top player in Fortnite.

If 2019 was any indication as to what Dubs can do, 2020 will be unreal for him.

What makes Dubs so fun to watch is his ability to adapt. Whether it be solos, duos, trios or squads, Dubs is consistent. He placed well at TwitchCon, finishing 2nd.

His only tournament win of the 2019 season came during Week 5 of the World Cup qualifiers.

EpikWhale

Last year was the stepping stone for EpikWhale. Finishing third at the World Cup Finals in Solos, EpikWhale has been one of the most consistent players in the competitive scene.

EpikWhale also had a solid performance during the Duos portion of the World Cup. What I like about EpikWhale is that he is talented in all facets of the game.

He is a utility player and one that continues to impress in the competitive scene. EpikWhale is versatile as a player and one that stands out in every tournament he competes in.

Mitr0

There are so many talented players on this list, but it wouldn’t be complete with Mitr0. If you follow the European scene at all, you know of the skill and talent by Mitr0.

After a huge 2018, Mitr0 continued his success in 2019. There have been no signs of him slowing down to open 2020, either.

Mitr0 is one of the best in the European scenes and has been able to handle himself against some of the best Fortnite players in North America as well.

Mongraal

At only 15-years-old, Mongraal has torn up the EU side of Fortnite. Consistently placing 1st or 2nd in multiple tournaments, Mongraal is the future of competitive Fortnite.

His mechanics are on point, but what makes him stand out I think is his game sense.

His callouts and quick thinking help him and his teammates in even the toughest of situations.

Knowing when and where to rotate, as well as the ability to steal high-ground from his opponents has helped Mongraal become a beast in the competitive community.

I am excited to Mongraal grow as a player and I believe he will continue to be a force in the competitive side of Fortnite.

Unknown

In terms of prize money, Unknown is the lowest on this list. However, he has taken the competitive scene by storm. 2019 was a promising year for the young gamer.

Unknown posted on Twitter that he wants 2020 to be a huge year for him. His goals are to earn 600K in tournament earnings.

To do that, Unknown will need to beat some of the best in competitive Fortnite.

With that being said, his potential is not limited and he will continue to make a name for himself this year.

Zayt

When you land off the battle bus, you better hope you don’t run into Zayt.

After a modest 2018, Zayt exploded in 2019.

His competitive year included placing well at the Summer and Fall Skirmish and finishing 4th as a Duo at the World Cup Finals.

Zayt is a player that can defeat you in many ways, which makes him so dangerous. Like others on this list, 2020 is the year Zayt can break out in even more ways.

Do you agree that these are the top 10 best Fortnite players in the world?

If not, who do you think are the top 10 best Fortnite players?
